BME Community Gathering - March 2023 - Glocal Competency for Learning as You Go

Join us for our monthly BME community gathering, where we will be hearing from Keiko Kuji-Shikatani about how she thinks about the Glocal Principle in the context of her work in Canada. We will then break into smaller groups to explore the concept of glocal competency and how we can all continue to build our own knowledge and skills to support zooming in and zooming out to support "learning as we go."

February Gathering of the U-FE / Blue Marble Evaluation Community

Join us as we explore the new directions for Utilization-Focused Evaluation through Blue Marble Evaluation.

This month, we will be providing a space for Q&A with Michael Quinn Patton, founder of Blue Marble Evaluation, as well as time for BME members to connect with one another. We will also talk about how the Blue Marble Evaluation community might collaborate to contribute to the upcoming American Evaluation Association conference call for proposals.

This webinar is part of a monthly series offered by Utilization-Focused Evaluation in partnership with Blue Marble Evaluation. The publication of the new 5th edition of Utilization-Focused Evaluation provides an opportunity to revisit the interconnection between Blue Marble Evaluation and Utilization-Focused Evaluation. In essence, Blue Marble evaluations should be utilization-focused so Utilization-Focused Evaluation provides the overarching framework for Blue Marble Evaluation.

As part of preparation and building momentum for the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit more than 900 Independent Dialogues have taken place around the world. These Summit Dialogues aim to offer a seat at the table to all interested stakeholders, giving them an opportunity to debate, collaborate, and provide input into deliberations on the future of food.
